EPDM rubber grommets that are another wear component on the Premium Mooring Whip mounting base. As the whips function the upper rocker arm of the base applies pressure - the grommet acts as a shock absorber - and help pull the whip back into the upright position. UV and wear from the rocker will eventually cause these to need replacement. Consumer can replace with simple hand tools.
